1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the VibeUE API service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

VibeUE is a free, open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides AI-powered tools for Unreal Engine development. The Service is provided by independent developers, not a corporation.

2. Description of Service

VibeUE provides an API that connects AI assistants (like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar large language models) to Unreal Engine development tools. The Service allows AI models to:

• Create, modify, and manage Unreal Engine assets
• Execute Blueprint operations
• Manage project files and configurations
• Access documentation and development resources

3. API Key and Account

To use the Service, you must create an account by signing in with a supported authentication provider and receive an API key. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your API key confidential and secure
• All activities that occur using your API key
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your key
• Regenerating your API key if it may have been compromised

We reserve the right to disable or revoke API keys that violate these Terms or are used for abusive purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes
• Exceed reasonable usage limits or engage in abusive API calls
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without permission
• Use automated systems to overwhelm the Service (denial of service attacks)

5. Your Content and Data

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content, code, or assets you create or modify using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your projects, code, or creative work.

No Training on Your Data: We do NOT use your content, API requests, or project data to train AI models. Your creative work and code remain yours.

Analytics Data: We collect anonymized usage analytics, error logs, and performance metrics to improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service is designed to work with third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's GPT, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for:

• The availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party AI models
• How third-party services handle your data
• Any costs associated with using third-party AI services

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided free of charge on an "as available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Uptime or availability of the Service
• Response times or performance
• Continuity of the Service (we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time)

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or planned downtime.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE VIBEUE DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Since the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed $0 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the VibeUE developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
